The Lahore Resolution was indeed a landmark in the history of India and of the Muslims. Before this, the Muslims of India had no goal and no future in view and Muslim politics remained in the hands of the individuals with conflicting interests and inclinations. As soon as Lahore Resolution was passed by the Muslim League, the Hindu press started criticizing the Muslim League and declared this resolution as Pakistan Resolution. Slowly and gradually, Muslim were moving towards their goal and in a short span of seven years of their struggle, the Muslims of Indo-Pak Subcontinent finally succeeded in getting Pakistan, on 14th of August, 1947. Introduction
Shah Baig Lane Educational and Welfare Society (SEWS) was come into being in 1st November 1993. The most fundamental theme of the organization is to remove illiteracy from the region and create good atmosphere among people so as they had better mingle themselves in order to reside peaceful lives. It was created not only for education besides; we have many basic rights such as water, food, jobs and so on. However, we created (SEWS).
Project Idea
What is Self Project? We have discrimination in education thus it is very difficult to get good as well as quality education because poor people can not fulfill its needs. Why? Because we have “A” and “O” level system and it is distinguished. Those who belong to rich family and getting quality education and those who belong to poor family getting poor education in this way, We set up this project to see the dilapidated sights of the government schools and the management system and schooling, they don’t have any access between parents and teachers and their SMCs funds are being misused in this regard, they never promote themselves to get or provide quality education. Even the government provides many funds for the betterment of schools but they don’t use them properly. We have many international and National NGOs which have been working for the sack of promoting Govt schools but all in vain. Why? Because it is the most obligatory obligation to the Society’s members as well as community organization to take care of their schools if not, then it is useless to use their efforts. In conclusion, to see all the aspects, we decided to create “Self Project” to keep an eye on these burning situations in order to have better outcomes. In this five yearly plan, we are going to introduce a 3 year Montessori system for early year child. The “Self” that is foundation builder and will bring coordination among community organization, teachers and education department officers.

World Women Day
Shah Baig Lane Educational And Welfare Society celebrated “World Women Day” from Shah Baig Lane Women Committee. Tablows, Dramas, speeches and jokes were demonstrated and performed to show peace in the region among women. During this event, Miss Perveen Naz who is the president of “World Women Committee” said that we (Women) who has many problems in Lyari that, are lawful, economical and educational are the topmost. The condition of girl’s government school is worse enough where teachers are not available yet. In this result, they don’t have science laboratory where they could provide science education. It pity that we don’t have science teachers as well as science lab at Wali Muhammad Haji Yaqoob girl’s school. However, they are being very far from technical and scientific education. The executive member of women committee, Sajida Ghulam Murtaza who said that we don’t have any access to educational, technical and medical colleges. They prevent getting higher education after matriculation owing to lack of expenses. In this reason, they never think about education especially girls. We really feel embarrassed enough to see the mourning plight of our maternity home. It first and foremost, mission of ours that we never stop until we reach at the destination through the platform of Shah Baig Lane Educational And Welfare Society. It will be colorful efforts, which, brings changes in order to make us united. We really feel proud that we have enough capacity to meet our expenses by our monthly fee of the students. We (Inshahallah) very sooner, establish the vocational institute where women will be able to learn designing, beautician and embroidery courses.
